Dan Boyd brings over a decade of experience in litigating various areas of civil litigation to Cohen Law Group. He is an experienced litigation attorney with a demonstrated history of vigorously and ethically representing individuals in a broad range of disputes. Mr. Boyd previously ran his own law firm where he represented policyholders with their residential and commercial property insurance claims in both Missouri and Kansas. While running his firm, Mr. Boyd was named in the Top 40 under 40 by The National Trial Lawyers for five years in a row. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in seeking justice for insureds whose property damage claims were wrongfully denied or underpaid by their insurance carriers.
Mr. Boyd has previously served as counsel for some of the largest providers of long-term care services in the country, where he defended medical malpractice claims in the State and Federal courts of Missouri and Kansas. His background also includes representing injured persons throughout the United States in claims involving product liability, mass torts, environmental torts, medical malpractice, personal injury, and construction defects.
Mr. Boyd obtained his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Northwest Missouri State University. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas City – School of Law. Mr. Boyd is admitted to practice law in the United States District Courts of Kansas and the Western District of Missouri. His Bar admissions include Missouri and Kansas.
