Red Light Camera Tickets? You May be Entitled to Your Money Back

Florida’s Supreme Court ruled that Orlando and other cities did not have the authority to set up an automated camera system to catch red-light runners and ticket them.

This means that Orlando may refund ticketed drivers up to $125 dollars. Although they agreed to refund ticketed drivers, they suspect only a small portion of them will be reimbursed.

The Florida Supreme court declared the red light cameras illegal from Sept. 1, 2008 to July 1, 2010. Once the ruling is finalized the city will contact those who “properly objected” and will most likely receive their money back.

At Cohen Law Group, we stand for the community and for justice. We will guide you to the proper solution and someone who is best suitable for your case.

If you have any questions regarding a red light camera ticket that you or someone you know has received between the dates of September 1, 2008 to July 1, 2010, please contact us for more information.

Thank you and drive safely!
