Kyle Hyman

Kyle earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami in political science and economics. In 2012, Kyle received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law where he graduated with honors.

Kyle has devoted his entire legal career to litigation and trial practice. During law school, Kyle worked at the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Middle District of Florida and at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. He was also a member of the criminal law society and litigation skills program while attending the University of Miami.

After graduation, he continued his specialization as an assistant public defender in the Ninth Judicial Circuit where he handled hundreds of cases at the misdemeanor and felony level.

Kyle has represented clients facing a wide range of charges including DUI, Battery, Drug Possession, and economic crimes under Florida’s fraud and RICO statutes.

Since joining Cohen Law Group, Kyle has specialized his practice in civil litigation, handling first-party property insurance claims representing homeowners and contractors.

In his spare time, Kyle has also taught criminal procedure at Barry Law School as an assistant adjunct professor and has been a member of the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
