Isabel M. Arias is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. She also earned her Master of Arts in Journalism and Bachelor of Science and Communication in English and Communication from the University of Miami.
During law school, Isabel served as vice president of the Family Law Society and a tax assistance volunteer for the Helping Others through Pro bono Efforts (H.O.P.E.) public interest organization. She was a judicial intern for the family court in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade County and interned in the legal department of a title insurance company.
Prior to entering law school, Isabel was a news reporter and editor for The Miami Herald. She also worked as a consultant on federal and state anti-money laundering regulations and compliance procedures for international private banks in South Florida. She is also fluent in Spanish.
