Ustena, who was born in Egypt relocated to Florida at a young age. She attended college at Florida International University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies. After graduating from FIU, she pursued a Juris Doctorate at Barry University. Whilst excelling in her academics, she tried out and was selected to become a member of her schools highly competitive Trial Team. During her third year of law school, she was chosen to compete for the American Association for Justice, the largest nationwide mock trial competition in the country where she was coached by legacies in the litigation community. Throughout her duration of law school she worked as a criminal defense law clerk. She quickly learned to balance school, work and preparing for mock competitions. As a result, she formed a strong work ethic.
Before arriving at Cohen Law Group, Ustena worked for a variety of law firms with specialties ranging from probate law and corporate planning to personal injury and medical malpractice. She is a member of the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and Orange County Bar Association. Ustena speaks three languages and is an active member in her church and community.
Outside of the office, Ustena enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and playing soccer.
