Guillermo Lopez was born and raised in Dorado, Puerto Rico. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law. During his tenure at Florida Coastal, Mr. Lopez served as President of the Student Bar Association, where he effectively advocated for and engaged with his peers on various issues impacting the student body.
Upon graduating, Mr. Lopez embarked on his legal career as a Public Defender in Osceola County. In this role, he practiced criminal defense and represented clients in cases involving DUI, domestic violence, theft, and other charges. His time as a Public Defender afforded him invaluable courtroom experience, encompassing both motion practice and trials.
Mr. Lopez subsequently joined Cohen Law Group, where he leverages his extensive experience to deliver exceptional legal representation and zealous advocacy for his clients.
In his time, Mr. Lopez enjoys traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and visiting local theme parks.
