One Dead After Crash In Riverview

RIVERVIEW, FL (June 19, 2019) — According to Florida Highway Patrol, one man passed away in a car accident on Wednesday morning around 8:13 a.m. in Riverview.

The accident took place at the intersection of US 301 and Balm Riverview Boulevard. Troopers stated that an SUV crossed over into oncoming traffic after running a red light. The SUV then struck another car which flipped over after the impact. At that point, a truck pulling a trailer struck the car that had been overturned.

One adult man and three children were in the SUV. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The three children were taken to the hospital. This story is still developing.
