Robert Belle Jr.

Robert N. Belle, Jr., was born in Boston, Massachusetts where he graduated high school from the Belmont Hill School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Clemson University.

While attending Clemson University, Robert was awarded membership into the Golden Key National Honor Society, Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society, and played on the school’s travel club lacrosse team. In 2004, Robert obtained his law degree from

Northeastern University School of Law where he completed an internship with the Massachusetts Superior Court for Middlesex County and served as a legal writing teaching assistant.

After completing law school, Robert worked at the Miami-Dade and Orange/ Osceola Public Defenders’ Offices where he represented indigent clients on a wide range of offenses spanning from misdemeanors to capital felonies. Robert tried over 45 jury trials while working at the public defenders’ offices and he was previously Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law. After leaving public service, Robert worked for several years at large Orlando defense law firm where he litigated and tried numerous personal injury matters on behalf of the country’s largest auto insurance company and their insureds.

In 2019, Robert began working as a partner at a boutique plaintiff’s personal injury firm in Seminole County where he managed all aspects of the firm’s litigation practice.

Since joining the Cohen Law Group, Robert has focused his practice in the areas of first party property and personal injury claims. Robert is also admitted to practice law in the states of Florida and Massachusetts, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
