Roger Walker

Roger Walker is a Florida native born and raised in the Tampa Bay area.

He attended the University of South Florida and graduated Magna Cum Laude with Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Psychology. He was also the first African American to graduate from USF St. Petersburg’s Honors Program.  He continued his education earning his law degree at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was an active member of the school’s Trial Team.

He began his legal career working as a criminal prosecutor for the 9th and the 18th Judicial Circuits. In 2019, he was named the Misdemeanor Attorney of the Year for the 18th Judicial Circuit.

From there he continued fighting for justice as a plaintiff’s attorney handling first-party property damage insurance claims.  Throughout the course of his career he has taken over 29 cases to jury trial and is passionate about advocating on behalf of his clients.
