Izzy is a Florida Native and grew up in Central Florida. He attended the University of Florida and got his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 2000. He attended St. Thomas University School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor in 2007. He has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2008. Mr. Burdick began his career representing insurance companies in first party claims and has been representing homeowners and business owners for over 15 years assisting them with insurance claims against their carriers for wrongfully denied and underpaid claims.

He spends his off time with his beloved family in the Florida Keys fishing, diving, and lobstering.
