State Farm Loses Appeal x 2
Florida’s appellate courts continue to rule in favor of the restoration industry, homeowners, and assignment of benefits. The Circuit Court in Osceola County, in its appellate capacity, issued an order on June 5 that reversed dismissal of two restoration companies’ lawsuits where State Farm challenged assignment of benefits.
Another Win For The Good Guys!
The Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, in its appellate capacity, quashed a county court’s order granting State Farm’s Motion to Abate Action and Compel Appraisal with the insured. The water mitigation company in that case brought an action for breach of contract after State Farm failed to pay the company’s full invoice.
